The Drape & Stitch size charts have no design ease added. Refer to the finished garment measurements in the pattern details for the design fit. Patterns are available in sizes AU 6 - 24.
See below for international size range conversions.
HOW DO I SELECT MY SIZE?
Select your garment size according to the size charts-
Tops, dresses and jackets: Choose size by bust measurement.
Pants and skirts: Choose size by hip measurement.
If there are any differences in your measurements and the size charts, select the pattern size that rounds up from your measurements. For example, if your hips measure 90.2cm, select pattern size 8, 92cm.
Want to achieve the perfect fit? Patterns sometimes need adjusting to suit your fab body perfectly. Pick the pattern size according to your body measurements (see below), or preferred "design ease" from the finished garment measurements, and follow the adjustment guides provided with your pattern.
Sizes 6 - 24: Metric (Centimetres)
Sizes 6 - 24: Imperial (Inches)
You will need an accurate measurement of your body to choose your pattern size. Use a flexible tape held firmly, but not tight, over bare skin or thin undergarments. Write these measurements down and check them regularly.
Below are the bust, waist, hip and height measurements used for Drape & Stitch patterns. Where a pattern requires a different measurement, for an example the neck or high bust, this is included in the size charts on the product page.
Bust/ Chest (A): Measure the circumference across the fullest part of the bust, around the back and shoulder blades, and under the armpits.
Waist (B): Measure the circumference at the waistline (bend to the side- the crease that forms is the natural waistline).
Hips (C): Measure the circumference around the fullest part of the rear and around both hips.
Height (D): Measure from the top of the head to the bottom of the foot flat on the floor, in-line with the back.
